Beginning with the first Sunday in Advent, this daily devotional follows the Revised Common Lectionary (Year C) through Epiphany. Each day offers something new: commentary, poetry, visual art, hymns, journaling, and Sabbath prompts. As you walk through these prompts and readings day by day, may you be comforted by the One who dwells intimately with us. May you come home—wherever home is found—to live fully with joy, hope, and courage.

Following the scriptures for year C and our weekly sub-themes,

  • Sunday—Poetry prayer (by Rev. Sarah Are Speed)

  • Monday—Biblical commentary on the lectionary gospel text (by Elder Vilmarie Cintrón-Olivieri)
